For over 10 years, I’ve specialized in photographing athletes in the sports they love — capturing not only the peak action moments, but the powerful scenes that tell the full story of the game.

My name is Alan Mohring, owner of Alan Mohring Photography, LLC.
I photograph high school, travel, and competitive team sports throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
As a professional photographer, I have media access on the sidelines and near the action—places that parents and spectators simply can't reach. This access allows me to capture:
Intense game action moments, athlete reactions in real time, player and coach interactions, teammate celebrations and behind-the-scenes moments unfolding during the game.
These are the perspectives that truly tell the story of the athlete and the team. And they are moments that can’t be captured from the stands.
How Much Does It Cost?
Requesting coverage comes with no initial cost. I focus on clients who desire professional photos without the need for prepayment, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. By signing up and allowing your images to be used for marketing and media coverage, your athlete can gain additional local recognition, enhancing opportunities for college recruitment and promotion within the sport.
If you sign up for coverage, you’ll receive a digital gallery of images taken during the game. These images are priced at fair market value, with package discounts offered for purchases based on the quantity of images ordered. All images come with full usage rights, so you can share, print, or post on social media without restrictions.
How Risk-Free Game Coverage Works
The process is simple.
Step 1 — Request Game Coverage
Click the button below and select the date and time of your athlete’s game or event.
Step 2 — Complete the Coverage Form
You’ll provide a few quick details including: parent contact information, athlete name, team information, jersey number and position played. This helps me identify your athlete on the field or court. You will also be asked for permission to use images in media and marketing.
Step 3 — Game Day Coverage
When I attend the event, I’ll focus on capturing strong action moments and storytelling images of the athletes who have requested coverage. While I photograph many moments throughout the game, I prioritize athletes who have expressed interest.
Step 4 — Receive the Gallery
Within 72 hours of the game, you’ll receive a private link to the full gallery via text or email.
The gallery will include the images captured during the event that are being submitted to media outlets or used in my photography business.

Sports photography is unpredictable.
Games move quickly, and every play unfolds differently.
While I will do my best to photograph all athletes who request coverage, I cannot guarantee a specific number of images of any individual player.
However, athletes who sign up for coverage will always receive priority attention whenever possible during the game.
